- 2 lbs fresh collard greens
- 1 large smoked ham hock
- 1 chopped yellow onion
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Wash collard greens in cold water.
Remove stems and chop leaves.
Heat oil in a large pot.
